Everyone knows the Geico commercial that has the pig in the backseat of a car going “Whee, Whee, Whee” all the way home, right? Here’s the link if you have somehow managed to miss out on this: Geico Piggy Commercial

I apparently have my own little piggy!

About a week ago, Beth started saying “Whee, Whee, Whee” from the backseat of the car. When I asked what she was doing, Alex said something about a pig and TV. Then he joined in. Oh. My. Goodness. I can listen to one kid do it for a few minutes, but once they’re both doing it, it’s just too noisy and I put a stop to it pretty quickly.

Since then, she’s done it to Daddy once and to me at least 3 more times. And she just sits in the backseat and grins while she does it until I look at her – then she grins bigger. Little stinker!

  1. You yell very loudly (so they can hear you):
    “Stop before mommy’s head explodes!”

Truthfully, I was a bit surprised they actually stopped. 🙂

  2. They seem to have fun making mommie’s head explode…that’s what kids do best. After all isn’t that what they are supposed to do! ha ha

  3. I can remember many moments like this. How about going out to look at Christmas Lights? Ooh Ahh OH, Poppin Fresh dough.

And yes, duct tape would work. Maybe buy stock in it first since you have a lot of years ahead of you.

  4. Fortunately for them, it’s hard to duct-tape them while driving.

Although I suppose I could do it right after strapping them into their car-seats, before we left!

  5. I am smiling ear-to-ear, thinking of all the times that Uncle Dave and I had to listen to that @#&*@#$ Kit-Kat song!

Karma, it’s not just for Buddhists anymore!
