Cute things before coffee

Getting 2 adults, 1 kindergartener and one toddler out the door by 7am (preferably) can be difficult at times… herding cats comes to mind. Trying to do it without the benefit of coffee makes it twice as hard. I have coffee in the morning, but I take it to work and drink it at my desk. There are times that cute things happen, but recalling the details, even the same day, is nigh impossible. So, for your enjoyment, is a fragment of a memory of something Beth did this week.

Shannon is cajoling Alex to get socks/shoes/jacket on. Alex is whining/tired/doing_everything_except task at hand. I’m sitting on the stairs putting my shoes on.

Beth: Blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah.
Beth walks over to me by the stairs, throws her head back and says,
“Ah HA HA HA!!! Daddy, that’s so silly!”

  1. We can only imagine just how you were putting on your shoes that compelled Beth to say that. Trying to see if they worked on your ears? Your knees?
Wouldn’t it be great if we could only see what was going on in her mind. so we knew what she had said and what she thought was so funny.
