Yesterday I dressed Beth in a dress. Since it was kinda chilly out, she also had to wear tights for the first time in a long time. I had bought a bunch of them from my co-worker Lisa (from whom I also had gotten the dress she wore). The tights seemed a little big. They were size 4-6, but the 18-36 months one I have from last year look too small. I decided that if it was a problem, Barb would just take them off her.
So I asked Barb at the end of the day if the tights had been a problem because they were too big. She said:
“They weren’t a problem for me, but they were bugging Beth. This is how smart she is, though. She found a rubberband, put it over her foot and up her leg and said ‘They’ll stay now!’ And sure enough, that leg didn’t fall down again!”
How does a 2 year old figure that out?!!
